Farnham, John Hay, 1791-1833 1814-1819 Letters.

A collection of letters between Farnham and his family in Massachusetts. Farnham has immigrated to Kentucky and is encouraging his family to do so as well. He writes that the opportunities in Kentucky are especially important since his family is in debt. He discusses the politics of the War of 1812 and admonishes his sister Mary for being sympathetic to the British losses. His sisters write about local and family news and particularly Charlotte's school in Boston.
